Optus hits back at reports ‘human error’ led to data breach

Optus has hit back at reports “human error” within the telco’s IT system led to the data of as many as 9.8 million customers, past and present, being breached by hackers.

“I can categorically confirm that is not the case,” Andrew Sheridan, Optus Vice President of Regulatory and Public Affairs, told 3AW Drive.
