‘Out-of-control-crisis’: Calls for urgent NDIS reform

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has transitioned from a targeted support system for the vulnerable into a program experiencing unprecedented and unsustainable growth.

Speaking on 3AW Mornings with Heidi Murphy, shadow minister for the NDIS Melissa McIntosh warned that the scheme’s rapid expansion and systemic “rorts” were threatening its long-term sustainability.
