Oversized fruit: Has Neil stumbled across a trend?

Neil Mitchell is the office fruiterer at 3AW.

He’s know to often bring in a box of fresh fruit from his favourite grocer in the morning.

And this morning the fruit was supersized. Look at the above pear!

Neil gave it a brief mention, and then listener Steve sent in the below strawberries.

“These are our home grown strawberries . I’ve got big hands so that one I’m holding is huge!” Steve said.

We’ve already learnt this morning it’s been a great season for mice breeding.
