Two men are in custody following a road rage incident involving a firearm in Melbourne’s outer-east last night.

The pair are alleged to have been involved in a road rage incident where a firearm was produced on Manchester Road at Mooroolbark shortly after 10pm.

They then crashed a stolen red Toyota Camry into a tree on Ramset Drive in Chirnside Park before fleeing on foot.

The dog squad was deployed and the two men — a 27-year-old from Ringwood and a 27-year-old from Launching Place — were arrested.

One of them was found to be in possession of two firearms.
