Parents warned of Burnley pervert loitering in popular parkland

Parents have been warned of a pervert seen loitering around popular parks and sporting grounds.

The City of Yarra issued the warning after the man seen committing a “lewd act” near the football oval at Burnley Park about 6.30am on Monday.

The man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance and about 183cm tall with curly hair.

It is believed he was wearing red pants and a grey hoodie.

He also may have been walking a small dog.

At this stage police have not been made aware of any victims directly involved with the incident.

Police say anyone who comes across the man should not approach the person but call police.
