Article image for Pat Cash’s Australian Open predictions

Ahead of the Australian Open which begins on Monday, Pat Cash joined 3AW’s Sports Today program to give his predictions.

This year’s Open will be yet another chance for Andy Murray to have a shot at the title. After so many runner-up trophy’s, the world number one is looking to break the shackles.

Roger Federer fell to 17th in the world last year, however Cash believes the time off he took after knee surgery was sensible and he will come back fresh and ready to climb the rankings once again.

Of course there’s the Australian’s as well… Kyrgios, Tomic, Stosur. How will they fare?
