Peacock found wandering the streets in Melbourne’s west

Well, this isn’t what you expect to see in suburban Melbourne!

A peacock was found roaming the streets in Sunshine West over the weekend.

Jade Divers was heading to the shops with her father when they spotted the peacock on their busy street and moved it into their backyard, away from traffic.

“We’ve popped it on all the local pages … we can’t seem to find the owner so we’ve just got a peacock hanging out in our backyard at the moment!,” Ms Divers told Ross and Russel.

“He seems content, he’s domesticated.”
