Pedestrian fighting for life after Balwyn North crash

A woman is fighting for life in hospital after being hit by a car in Balwyn North this morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of Doncaster and Bourke roads about 7.20am.

The pedestrian suffered head, chest and pelvic injuries.

She’s in a critical condition in the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Doncaster Road is closed outbound between Bourke and Bulleen roads.
