Pedestrian fighting for life after crash in Boronia
A pedestrian is fighting for life while another is in a serious condition after a car crash in Boronia.
A 35-year-old Boronia man was walking his dog along the Dorset Road footpath at around 11pm when a car allegedly crossed onto the wrong side of the road and hit him.
It then continued through two fences before hitting a block of units.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in a critical condition while his dog died at the scene.
The female driver suffered minor injuries and is under police guard in hospital while her male passenger was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious injuries.
Dorset Road is expected to be closed to traffic until around 10am.
