Pedestrian killed: 15-year-old girl dead after Mornington Peninsula crash

A 15-year-old girl has been killed in a crash on the Mornington Peninsula.

Investigators say the teenager from Caulfield South was walking along Fultons Road in Baxter at about 7.45pm last night when she was struck by a car.

The driver involved, a 19-year-old Aspendale Gardens woman, stopped at the scene.

Sadly, the 15-year-old couldn’t be revived.

Police say the driver is assisting them with their enquiries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
