Entertainment reporter Peter Ford says Elton John has almost managed to pull the wool over his fan’s eyes by announcing his “farewell tour” overnight.

“He wants to spend more time with his husband and children, which is fair enough,” Pete told Ross and John.

“But before doing that, he’s going on a three year, 300 show, global farewell tour.

“He’s doing a superannuation tour, oh sorry the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.”
