Person dies after car plows through school fence at Brighton East

One person is dead after a car smashed through a fence at St Leonard’s College on Tuesday afternoon.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash at Brighton East.

They’ve been told a man was struck off Ratho Avenue around 4.25pm.

Paramedics attended and treated the pedestrian who died at the scene.

The female driver of the car is assisting police with their enquiries.
