Person struck and killed by truck at Kew

A person has been hit and killed by a truck at Kew.

3AW Drive was alerted to the incident on Monday afternoon.

The pedestrian was struck at the corner of Denmark Street and Studley Park Road, at the Kew junction, about 4.30pm.

They died at the scene.

The exact cause of the incident is still being investigated.

The truck driver is speaking with police at the scene.

Police are urging people to avoid the area.
