Person swims to safety after boat capsizes off Gippsland coast

A person who was on a boat that capsized off the coast of East Gippsland has managed to swim to safety.

Rescue crews were called to the scene at Marlo about 6.30 on Monday morning.

The person was about a kilometre from the jetty.
