Pet dog Howie stolen at Preston, found outside Lalor plaza and returned

UPDATE: Good news! Howie is back with his owner.

The Jack Russell-Chihuahua cross was found at the Lalor Shopping Plaza on Monday after being pinched near the Preston Market on Sunday afternoon.

One person is assisting police with their enquiries.

Howie’s owner say she’s grateful to have him back.

‘It’s more than a relief,’ Shermain told 3AW News through tears.

‘There are no words, really.

‘It’s like having family back.’
