Pete Ford speaks on ‘tragic’ deaths of Gene Hackman and his wife

Actor Gene Hackman passed away from a heart attack in his Santa Fe home, a week after his wife Betsy’s death.

His wife Betsy died of hantivirus pulmonary syndrome, which is a rare exposure to rodent droppings.

Entertainment expert Pete Ford has confirmed that it’s still an open case, however investigators have ruled out foul play for now.

“It does now seem that the outcome, that there was no foul play,” Ford said on 3AW Breakfast.
