Pete Ford’s brutal takeaway from Elle Macpherson’s 60 Minutes interview

Entertainment reporter Pete Ford says Elle Macpherson’s reputation has plummeted in the wake of her feature TV interview on Sunday night.

In the wide-ranging interview on 60 Minutes, the Australian supermodel admitted she rejected chemotherapy to treat breast cancer, instead opting for holistic treatment.

Pete Ford told Ross and Russ she came across as a “snake oil saleswoman” during the chat.

“She’s gone from one of Australia’s sweethearts to a snake oil saleswoman in a space of a week,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.

“People aren’t buying what she’s selling when it comes to this holistic cure for cancer.”
