Peter Dutton calls on community to ‘stand up’ to growing anti-semitism
Federal opposition leader Peter Dutton says the current level of anti-semititsm should be a “cause for concern” in the Jewish community.
Pro-Palestine protests at universities have been in the spotlight over the last week, with Jewish students and teachers saying they don’t feel safe on campus.
Mr Dutton said it was time for everyone to “stand up” and condemn the current hatred.

“There’s a lot of activity going on right now which should be a cause for concern within the Jewish community,
“The broader community needs to stand up…I would be equally offended if this level of discrimination and hatred expressed to any part of our community.”
