Peter Dutton’s office attacked in his own electorate
Vandals have smashed up Peter Dutton’s electorate office overnight.
Brick pavers were thrown at the office on Gympie Road at Strathpine, north of Brisbane, just before 2am.
The attack has caused extensive damage.
Police say four reinforced glass windows and two glass doors were smashed.
Walls inside the office have been left with holes.
It’s believed no-one entered the office during the incident.
Mr Dutton is a certain starter in the race to the Prime Ministership of Australia.
Treasurer Scott Morrison is the most likely contestant to the Liberal leadership today, however they may yet face opposition from Julie Bishop.
