Peter Ford explains spat between Channel 10 and Tom Arnold

Channel 10 is locked in a legal spat with US comedian Tom Arnold over his appearance fee on I’m a Celebrity ? Get Me Out Of Here!

3AW Breakfast’s showbiz guru Peter Ford said he had obtained legal documents which detailed the dispute.

Ford said Arnold was expecting to be paid $410,000 ($US) for appearing on the show.

So far, he’s received $270,000 of that.

‘In his (Arnold’s) mind, he believes it was a pay or play deal ? which means you get paid no matter happens,’ Ford explained.

‘Channel 10 clearly thinks differently.

‘Channel 10 will say I’m fabricating this story, but I have all the documents and contracts in front of me now.’
