Peter Ford says ’90 per cent’ of talk surrounding Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be ‘made up’

Showbiz guru Peter Ford says almost all of the speculation surrounding the divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be bull-tish.

He told 3AW Breakfast he couldn’t remember a bigger Hollywood split.

Unsurprisingly, there’s already plenty of rumour and innuendo about what caused the pair to break-up.

But Ford said those interested in the story should take most of what they hear with a grain of salt.

‘I reckon probably 90 per cent will be just made up,’ he explained.

‘I’ve been in this game.

‘They sit around a desk and will literally be writing plot lines like you’d write for a soap opera.’

The news rocked the entertainment industry on Wednesday, but Ford said he wasn’t shocked.

‘The magazines have been telling us every week for the last 10 years and finally it happened,’ he said.

‘It was almost a little anti-climactic, actually.

‘It certainly had massive coverage.

‘I can’t think of another Hollywood split that’s had as much coverage, in very recent years, anyway.’
