Peter Ford says Rebel Wilson has caused ‘enormous damage’

It seems Aussie actress Rebel Wilson could have a couple of law suits on her hands if she isn’t careful.

The Pitch Perfect star attracted plenty of attention at the weekend when she posted a photo of a journalist called Elizabeth Wilson to her 2.5 million followers on Twitter.

She branded the woman ‘scum’ and accused her of harassing her frail grandmother.

One problem ? it was the wrong person.

Showbiz guru Peter Ford told Ross and John he’d spoken with Wilson and told her she was doing ‘enormous damage.’

‘But she seems pretty reluctant to take advice,’ Ford said on 3AW Breakfast.

Ford said the mistaken Elizabeth Wilson was ‘absolutely distraught’ about what had happened and was considering legal action.

And in an added twist, the ‘correct’ Wilson, better known as Lizzie, flatly denies ‘harassing’ the Hollywood star’s grandmother.

‘She says she rang her twice,’ Ford explained.
