Peter Ford weighs in on the controversy of Richard Wilkins hosting Barry Humphries’ memorial

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Richard Wilkins being chosen to MC Barry Humphries’ state memorial next month.

Ford said Wilkins is a “superb MC” but claimed he probably wouldn’t have given him the gig.

There was also an aspect to the whole situation which Ford finds “fairly extraordinary”.
