Peter Ford’s view on Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘problematic’ Meghan Markle column

Entertainment guru Peter Ford says Jeremy Clarkson’s column on Meghan Markle was “problematic at the very least”.

Mr Clarkson is facing intense backlash over the piece, which ran in The Sun, but has since been pulled by the newspaper, with calls for the broadcaster and columnist to be sacked.

In the column, Mr Clarkson wrote that he dreamed about the Duchess of Sussex being “made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her”.
