Peter Marshall goes off on ‘dirty’ government tricks amid Parliament House protest

Secretary of the United Firefighters Union, Peter Marshall, has delivered some passionate comments amid the mass protest at Parliament House today in relation to the new emergency services levy.
He claimed the levy will “push people over the edge” and hit out at the state government’s “dirty tricks” this morning as many V/Line services have been cancelled or delayed.
“The government’s dirty tricks, they’ve stopped the trains coming in, that is dirty from this government,” Marshall told Tom Elliott.

“That’s as passionate as I’ve ever heard Peter Marshall about anything,” the 3AW Mornings host said.
