Peter McCallum charity bike ride thwarted by dills with tacks

A bike ride raising money for charity was sabotaged on the weekend when an unknown assailant laid tacks across the road. 

As first reported on The Rumour File on 3AW Breakfast, cyclists riding 200 kilometres over two days suffered minor injuries and punctured tyres as a result of tacks laid across the road. 

Cyclist Simon Manning said it was incredibly dangerous, and could have serious injured someone.
