Petrol Price at 17 year low for quarter

An ACCC report showed retail petrol prices were at a 17 year low in the March quarter today.

Geoff Trotter from FuelTrac spoke to Ross Greenwood about the factors involved in the results.

‘We’ve got to keep this ACCC report in perspective,’ Mr Trotter said.

‘They speak in inflation adjusted terms.’

Oil prices and the dollar are other factors which are involved in the results.
