More and more companies are looking at using artificial intelligence to create deepfakes of people who have recently passed away for those mourning.

Professor of philosophy at Deakin University, Patrick Stokes, says people have grappled with the issue of digital remains for a while.

“Over what control you should have of your digital remains after you die and who gets to make the call,” he told Ross and Russel.
