Phone message wishes customers ‘Merry Christmas’ in March

Whoops! A major food and beverage company has been left red-faced after wishing customers a ‘Merry Christmas’ on Labour Day.

‘Wrong Holiday’ told 3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File he rang Lion to place an order on Monday, when he was met with a pre-recorded message wishing him season’s greetings.

‘Maybe they were just getting in early!?’ 3AW Breakfast’s Kate Stevenson said.
