PICTURES: The 2016 Melbourne Moomba parade

Thousands of people have flocked to St Kilda Road to watch this year’s Moomba Parade.
Nearly 2000 performers, ranging from clowns to dancers to different cultural groups, were involved in the parade.
Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Michelle Payne and brother Stevie took their place on the throne as this year’s King and Queen of Moomba.
