Plan to transform iconic Franco Cozzo furniture store

The iconic Franco Cozzo furniture store in Footscray would become a boutique pub under a proposal currently before Maribyrnong council.

Moon Dog Brewery is in the process of planning application approval to turn the site into a pub and live music venue. Under the proposed plan, the iconic Franco Cozzo signs on the 1960s building would remain.

Moon Dog co-founder Karl van Buuren says it “absolutely would be a homage” to Franco Cozzo.
