Plants beheaded in weird and senseless Portsea vandalism
What possess someone to do this?
Hooligans beheaded hundreds of agapanthus along Back Beach Rd in Portsea.
The bizarre and apparently deliberate vandalism happened on new years’ eve, and residents aren’t happy.
Local resident Geoff Macfarlane told Heidi Murphy it was a “bit of a shame”, especially during holiday season.
“People work hard to showcase their gardens and the environment here,” he said.
“So just show a bit of respect.”
