Platycam livestream: Catch some of Victoria’s most elusive creatures on camera

The Phillip Island penguin parade livestream was a roaring success during COVID-19, and the 367 Collins Peregrine Falcon camera has been a hit for years.

Now, a livestream has been set up to catch some of Victoria’s most elusive creatures — platypuses.

The camera is set up at Grange Burn in Hamilton, in south-west Victoria.

The best times to spot them are in the two hours before dusk and after sunrise.
