A man has been injured in an explosion at the CSIRO’s Clayton lab

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: A man has suffered burns in an explosion at the CSIRO’s laboratories at Clayton.

As revealed on the 3AW Rumour File, the incident happened at around 1pm on Tuesday.

The CSIRO has told 3AW Breakfast there was an issue with a piece of lab equipment, the explosion was small and the male staff member was taken to The Alfred hospital with minor injuries.
