Agriculture waste turned into high-value products

Rural News

Farm waste from unpicked berries, to rejected produce from supermarkets, will be used to create new products from skin care to high tech materials.

The $11 million program will be led by University of Adelaide.

The research consortium has its sights set on sunscreen from mushroom waste, and skin care products from apples and berries.
