Do Australians disgrace themselves on overseas holidays?

Tom Elliott put the call out to 3AW listeners after the topic was raised with him recently.

Bali seems to be a “haven for bad behaviour”, according to the 3AW Drive host.

Marion Halliday, better known as the Red Nomad OZ, says in her experience tourists often act out in Australia.

She said Bali was a popular destination for Australians, sometimes for the wrong reasons.

“It seems to be the country that brings out the worst in us Aussies,” he said.

“It happens over here as well.”
