Budding musician Lilly joins Denis in the lead up to Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight

Ten-year-old Lilly has big dreams this year.

She’s the face of Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, which this year celebrates 80 years.

Lilly, who is vision impaired, hopes to one day stand on stage and sing at the event, as she chases her dream to become an opera singer. Her number one idol is Andrea Bocelli.

“He’s always been amazing to me – and I’ve listened to him since I was little,” she told Denis Walter in the studio today.

Lilly joined Denis in the studio for World Sight Day and tickets have also officially gone on sale today for Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight.

She loves to sing telling Denis she sings every day.

Denis even invited Lilly to come and sing at his final show for the year and she charmed him with a quick performance after their chat.
