Calls for a dedicated Rural Health Department in NSW

There are renewed calls for a dedicated Rural Health Department to be set up in New South Wales.

The campaign has been gaining traction – with Wagga M-P Doctor Joe McGirr launching a petition to call for more specific services.

Our Rural Reporter Rhiannon Soliman-Marron caught up with New South Wales Farmers member and retired Occupational Therapist Sarah Thompson –  on how a dedicated department could help country communities.
