Caro: I could end up with egg on my face

Caroline Wilson has conceded she may have been wrong about Nathan Buckley.

In early July, Caro had said she thought the Collingwood coach would not be at the helm next year, but she’s changed her tune of late.

“I could end up with egg on my face. You might say I already have it,” Caro told 3AW Football on Saturday.

“A month ago I thought he was as good as gone.”

Caro said Gary Pert’s recent resignation has worked in Buckley’s favour.

“It has exposed some deficiencies in that administration and in that footy department that can’t all be squared back at him,” she said.
