China extends tariffs on some Australian wines

Australia will look at taking its wine export battle with China to the World Trade Organisation, after the country extended tariffs on some products.

Taxes were already in place following accusations of dumping –

Beijing has accused the federal government of subsidising wines to export and sell cheaply in China.

Rural reporter Sophie Clarke caught up with Australian Grape and Wine Chief Executive Tony Battaglene to hear about the impacts.
