Concerns over deadly pig disease
New variants of a disease that’s decimated global pig populations by a third are sending shockwaves through the pork industry.
There’s been 11,000 outbreaks involving the new strains of African Swine Fever across Asia, that’s proving particularly hard to detect before pigs die.
Australia remains free of the disease, and there is no risk to humans.
