Dairy levy recommended to rise

The independent chairman of the Dairy Levy Poll is refuting claims the majority of submissions to the review wanted a reduction or no levy at all.

Voting papers will be sent out next year, with the committee recommending an increase of 20 percent.

The other options include no change, and increases of either 15 or 25 percent.
