Drought recovery drives new year cattle sales

Summer weaner sales are setting records with strong re-stocker demand coming from farmers in drought recovering areas.

Up to a quarter of sales on Tuesday were purchased by on-line buyers, then on Wednesday it was about one in five.

Restocker demand in the Northern Half of New South Wales is fuelling action.
