Emotional reunion: Woman meets the man who saved her life

A woman has wept with joy on 3AW this morning after being reunited with a good Samaritan who helped save her life on the side of a the road.

Lesley Thommers pulled over her car in Hampton Park, vomiting and feeling unwell while having an aneurysm.

She was on Pound Road in February when she felt pain, stopped her car and was then rushed to hospital for emergency brain surgery.

MS Thommers has spent months trying to find the men who did a U-turn and helped her.

And today on Neil Mitchell’s program, she was able to thank them.
