Enough bees for almond pollination but costs rising
The costs facing almond growers to pollinate their orchards has risen “substantially” after years of drought and the summer’s bushfires.
There’s expected to be a twenty percent price rise this year, as beekeepers keep their insects alive and more orchards come into production.
