Farmers reject proposed Biosecurity Levy
Grain producers are urging the Government to rethink its proposed Biosecurity Protection Levy.
The peak body for the industry argues the existing proposal is a tax, not a levy, and doesn’t guarantee the funds collected will benefit biosecurity measures.
