Farmers still short of workers
Australian farmers will be short up to 24,000 workers for the upcoming season.
The study is by EY, who last year correctly identified there’d be a shortage of 28,000.
Governments have so far brought in 100,000 workers since the Seasonal Worker Programme restarted last year.
