Fears for Murray River water quality from rain after fires
As welcome rain falls in fire and drought impacted parts of the country, there’s fears for water quality in the Murray River.
The Murray Darling Basin Authority is warning ash from recent fires, will be washed into the river system to the detriment of water quality.
