Fire ants to go marching interstate..if action isn’t taken
Governments are being asked to re-work a national plan aimed at stamping out red imported fire ants, after a report determined the current strategy won’t work.
The document suggests the pests will spread beyond southeast Queensland if efforts aren’t made to improve the strategy which could affect the horticulture sector.
