Food insecurity rises, despite falling fresh produce prices.

The federal government is under pressure to reduce power and mortgage costs as a report shows 36% of households are experiencing food insecurity.

Farmer and food educator Catherine Velisha says the price of some fruit and vegetables are at the lowest they’ve been in years, and can’t be blamed for putting growing pressure on budgets.
